We have helped some fantastic musicians progress down through the years. Once our students have completed their exams, they often go on to become professional musicians or even teachers themselves. Past students of ours often provide music for various events, including weddings, corporate events etc.
At Newbridge School of Music, we have a selection of musicians for hire, depending on your choice in music.

The Black Nights
The Black Knights are an extremely versatile band and play at all types of events across Ireland, including weddings and corporate events. They are a four piece band, with guitar, drums, keyboards and both male and female vocalists. They provide their own lighting and sound system, meaning you can simply enjoy the music! The Black Knights generally play to a mixed age group, so the set-lists are wide and varied, with everything from Galway Girl, Wagon Wheel, Nine to Five, Don't Stop Believing, Mamma Mia, 500 Miles etc. The Black Knights perform showcase nights in the Hamlet Hotel every month, where you can come along and see what you think.
They also provide a DJ service where required.
Jazz Band
Many of our guests enjoy a jazz band for their event. Our band play everything from Nina Simone to the Rat Pack classics.
Church Singers

String Quartet
There is something very timeless and elegant about a string quartet. Our professional musicians perform classics, giving a relaxed and peaceful atmosphere, ideal for a wedding reception.
